Epic trip just went down! Rhode Island was amazing. Skateboarding, beer, bbqs, street fights, and deffinatly no goddamn treading. to much awesomeness for me to even begin to try and type out... just watch the video and imagine what went down not on film... little to no fucks given!

Finally, the last banger... Nick and Zack. Origionally it was going to be two different parts, but when it came down to the end of filming, neither one had enough footage for a full part, but regardless, both of their skating was sick enough to have the ender. To make the banger even more gnarly then it looks, the runway is slanted and he did it on a mini board... I'm not sure if you can tell in that shot, but you can deffinatly see hes riding a mini in the clip where he bs tail slides and then noseblunts the stairs... amazing. Anyway, thats the closing part, tune in tommorow for the closing credits, and then its time to start filming for the next video!

Heres my part. What a bitch it was to make this... I pretty much was only able to film like 2 clips every 3 weeks or something because throughout the whole time we were filming I just kept getting wrecked. Two horrible rolled ankles and a bone bruise on my elbow... awful. If you've never had a bone bruise, it sorta feels like your arm is broken but it doesn't heal as fast and they can't do anything about it. Even right now my elbow is still completly fucked from it. Anyway, fuck this video because I barely survived it... can't wait for the next one!

Wow, I honestly didn't think he'd end up with a part, let alone first part. Not because of skating ability, but because maybe two weeks before the premire his hard drive crashed which had about 90% of his footage on it. But lucky for us, Metzger apparently is some sort of computer wizard or something and salvaged his footage and I ended up editing it. I like this part because it seems like no matter what hes skating, hes always flying at it with this crazy sketchy yet controled style that is scary to watch, but then you notice he seems to somehow be in complete control at all times. I love it! Thus, he is honered with the first part of the worst video of 2011.

Heres the intro to the video. Since this isn't a persons part exactly, I guess I'll talk about the day before and the day of the premire.
My computer hadn't been working til the day before the premire, so I got it set up and finished up editing the video. However, my computer wouldn't let me put it on a DVD, so I figured I would put it on a mini DV tape and play in from my camara. After putting the whole video on the tape, I realized I never put Kevs part in, so I tried rewinding the tape, only to realize I hadn't put anything on it. I basically just wasted about an hour of time for nothing. Then I tried calling every single person I know who might have a dvd burner, and after about another hour of that I finally get hold of Metzger who could do it. At this point its about midnight on the day before (or the morning of, however you look at it) the premire. I finally burn it onto a CD and then I can drop it off at his house. Turns out my computer wont also let me burn CDs now. Great. Its about 2 oclock at this point and Dave gives me the idea of putting it on Rapidshare, so I do that and send it to Metzger. He tells me hes gonna do it after work at 6 oclock. The time is set for it to show at 8.
Anyway, the day of the premire comes and I head up to the park to set the dvd player and tv up while Metzger gets the dvd burnt. Turns out if you download a lot of stuff at once, you have a 20 minute waiting period before you can download the next thing off of rapid share. So now the video isnt even going to be able to be burnt til about 8. Finally he gets the video burnt and heads up to the park, which is about an hour away, and we pop it in the dvd player and the intro plays, then stops. For whatever reason we are going to need to hit the next button in order to go from part to part, and I left the remote (the player didn't have a next button on it) at home. So Dan finds a dvd player in the park, but for whatever reason only audio comes out and no video. At this point we just figure we're gonna play it another day. However, turns out theres a Walmart down the street, so after driving the wrong way for a bit, we go in, grab a dvd player and head back. We set everything up and the whole thing played through. Thank god.
Anyway, that was the most stressing premire ever. hopefully the next one wont go the same way. But its Gnarhammered, so you know its going to go wrong...

Its been a while since I've skating outside. This is somewhat outside... It has a roof, but no walls, so I guess I'll consider that outside. Anyway, Me and Metzger went to FDR to skate the mini ramp. Awsome session went down and then we headed to 9th and Poplar. That place has gained a ton of new ramps and ledges and stuff. Its really turning out to be a sick little park. We only filmed a few things since my battery died. That thing is pretty much fucked. It only holds a charge for like an hour now. So beat. Anyway, don't enjoy this video. Not one little bit.

Me and Asian Dave went to Falls today. We had a super sick session where a ton of stuff went down, then went to get drinks and came back and both just ate shit for an hour then we left. Pretty non epic way of ending the day, but whatever, atleast we filmed the first part. Also found out that on sunday there will be a Zero or something demo at a brand new park in New Town. I'm not gonna go to the demo because of work, but siked to find out about some new crete in the area.

On The Road Again

Wow, its been a while. For a while Dave had my uploading camara in Texas so I couldn't post anything, and the stuff I did have on tap sucked, so I havent put anything on here. Sorry loyal Hammerers. Anyway, we went up to Stamford, CT today to check out the skatepark that I've been dreaming about going to. It was pretty damn fun, even though that park isn't exactly what I thought it was like, but regardless, any grindline park is worth going to... especially ones on the east coast. Heres the footage from that.

Ok, so I gave Azn Dave my smaller camara to go to Texas with, but realized thats the camara I upload all my footage onto my computer with. So, that means theres not gonna be anything until the end of the month. Then there should be a bunch of stuff. Or knowing Gnarhammered, there still wont be anything. Eather way, its just as worth while watching.
Anywho, I was looking through my computer and found some old footage and some newer stuff that sucks. Hopefully you hate it.

Also, Saturday is the World Championship Of Freestyle in Philly, so I'll probably film an update down there (Rizzo Rink on front and water st) So show up if you want to enter or just hangout. Or wait for a while and see the footage up here.

My god this spot is terrible. Thats why a Gnarhammered video got filmed on it. I got word that there was a DIY quarterpipe under I95 (thats not also FDR) so we headed down there expecting great things. Then we saw that it was this thing. For something that was so terrible, its actually sorta fun. Then I started playing with the crates, but you'll see that footage later when the Gnarhammered video comes out. I had a few days off from work, so we went on a few trips to do some last minute filming for the mega skate blockbuster- The Grimey Life. We went up to Chelsea Piers skatepark, BQE (not shown), and then Autumn Bowl in NYC. Then headed over to NJ (luckily not shown at all) to help Method Skateshop run a contest then headed over to Amanda Fields skatepark to do some filming. That footage will be posted up later in Methods End Of Summer montage thing. Then finally, we went to Radnor skatepark and did a bit of street skating. Needless to say, I'm beat as hell. Do you know what today is? Well kids, let me tell you. Its the official 200th post of Gnarhammered. So in celebration... AKA skating anyway then later realizing that its the 200th post, we went to Asian Daves house to skate his mini ramp. Shit was goin down! fireworks, camara smashing, smashing of ourselves into the ground... oh, we skated a bit as well. Heres the proof that this actually happened.

We went to the Princeton Skatepark the other day in NJ. The place is pretty fun if your into skating really crappy concrete parks which are poorly designed. Which I am, so I was all about it. Anyway, I went down to FDR with Kev today for a session on the mini before it started raining. Rainy Day At Roslyn

Skated Roslyn today with Kev and Nanny. It was the oddest weather. It was hot then cold then rainy then dry then raining then dry then windy as hell. We basically got this footage right as it started to rain the first time, then my battery died so we had to stop. Skated Roslyn today with Kev. Most of the park was snow free and dry, and we helped shovel along with Ttox and Boder, so hopefully by the time you are reading this, the whole thing will be dry. When to Langhorne Ski/Skate/ whatever-else-they-got-going-on-there today with Metzger and Zach, then later Garrett and Ryan showed up. It was a real fun session, and the funny thing is that Zach ripped his pants a little when we first got there, and it kept getting worse and worse until he just ripped the one leg off and had half short shorts and half pants, but kept skating regardless (all shown in the video). Anyway, its great to be out skating and filming again. I'm looking forward to filming some more real soon. Maybe tommorow?

damn, its been slow around the office as of recently... its basically my fault. It deffinatly hasn't been an easy or fun year so far.
We have been filming for the video and a whole lot of it is pretty close to being finished. I'm just waiting to not be hurt or sick or whatever else lucky bullshit I have coming my way, so I can get out there and skate as well.
So sorry if you've been looking at this site wondering what the hell happened... once the snow is gone everything should hopefully pick back up again.

So I went with Kev and Metzger to Pops Park to film a little montage or whatever, but they both had work early, so we stayed there for a bit, and then rolled out to go street skating. Metzger took us to what could be the worst spot on earth, but it did end up being pretty fun. I don't know how well you can hear it on the video, but the kids in the school next to us were screaming at us the entire time. Everytime anyone ollied up the curb they all freaked out. It was pretty awsome.
